Meet Your Chef

Personal Chef | Posh Cuisine
I didn’t grow up with a clear path. I grew up in New York City, in housing projects and shelters. In my world, abundance was never assumed and nothing was handed to anyone. My mother (and extended family) had to work hard for everything. What I learned from that about resourcefulness, constantly showing up and building a business from scratch is the foundation of everything I bring to your kitchen today.
Where I’ve Been
At 18, I left home and joined the United States Air Force. I served over 12 years and in that time I’ve lived in several states as well as Germany. I deployed to Qatar and Afghanistan during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and earned two Associate’s degrees and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. After being honorably discharged, I went on to complete a Master’s in Criminal Justice, and I spent another 12 years working alongside the Air Force and Navy as a civilian.
With more than two decades inside of demanding systems taught me what keeps a person steady under pressure, and what wears them down. I also learned how to read people, and to adjust how I show up for them, often without anyone needing to explain what’s going on.

What I Do
Cooking has been my constant thought every chapter in my life. I have more than 20 years of culinary experience, formal training from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach and I’m ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certified. It’s how I took care of friends and co-workers while being stationed away from their families.
I built Posh Cuisine for you; the person who runs everything, yet runs on empty. You don’t need another meal plan or lesson in nutrition. You need food handled for you, made by someone who knows and understands how closely what you eat is tied to your energy, focus, and mood. So, I handled it for you, quietly and consistently. And I get to know how and your life well enough to make sure I get it right.
How I Work
I intentionally keep my client roster small so every everyone gets my full attentions. I’m also clear about what I do and what I don’t, because good boundaries are part of good service. I prepare individual meals, made around you, and I deliver them myself.
Trust
When you invite me into your kitchen, you aren’t just hiring a service. You’re trusting a person. I take that seriously.
If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I’d love to talk. There’s no pressure and no obligation, just an honest conversation.
